It is wrong and immoral to seek to escape the consequences of one’s acts. ― Mahatma Gandhi

Good men prefer to be accountable.- Michael Edwardes

caretakers all

that is who we are

caretakers

we take care for

the OWNER.

you are beautiful

there is none like you

venus de milo is ugly

in comparison to you

you are GOD’s work

at the beginning of time

he made you without

any flaw

your legs are proportionate

your body adequate

your skin like that of a

new born babe

your colour fitting and proper

your body

a paragon of beauty and wonder

you are not the

OWNER.

you didn’t make yourself

you are not the creator

you are a caretaker.

one day, one time

the OWNER

will ask for ACCOUNT.

how have you used

your beauty?

are you a helen of troy

always causing DISCORD?

are you the source of

DESTRUCTION

or the cause of WAR?

one day, one time

one moment

the OWNER

will ask for ACCOUNT.

you are INTLLIGENT

you are a genius

nobody thinks like you

you are einstein, soyinka

newton and emeagwali

combined

nobody reasons like you

you are unequalled

when it comes to sense

and intelligence

everybody respects and wonder

about your brain

you are the acme of

your race

the primus inter pares

of your age

when it comes to brain power

you are not the OWNER

of this brain power

you are not creator of

yourself

you are the CARETAKER

one day, one time

the OWNER

comes for the ACCOUNT.

what account will you give

my brother?

what account will you give

my sister?

how have you used your brain?

are you a developer

or are you a destroyer?

are you like the internet creators?

the mobile phone inventors?

or

are you the inventor

of the nuclear bomb?

is your brain channelled

into saving lives

or into destroying lives?

are your theories the plank

for survival of millions

or are they for the

extermination of billions?

one day, my friend, one day

the OWNER

will come asking for the ACCOUNT.

WHAT ACCOUNT

WILL you GIVE?
