the vine

i am the vine

truncating the fruits

sapping the life sap of

the buoyant IROKO tree

i am the vine
twirling leaves
of danger and destruction

swirling thorns
of suffocation and destruction

am the vine
who live for myself and destroys

all nearby greenery for sustenance.
