As the bus sped into
the bush.
The luxuriant vegetation
Choked the snaky road,
Throwing the bus
Into the bush’s waiting
Arms.
My mind wanders
And wonder
Is there a place like this?
This 21st century?

There are still some but they are far and in between. The city had crawled into our villages and the values of the village had jumped out through the windows even in the villages.
